F5 - ing day in life...
Welcome back,Life is moving, on its own way dragging me every where. Last week Life and my friend Guru dragged me to Wimbledon, Guru thought we could watch a match in centre court..... huh - CAME TRUE that day.
As usual we were late in deciding where to go and when to go.... Guru called me at half past one, I made it to Wimbledon part half past 3 and it was a good 20 - 30 mins walk up/down the hill... finally we reached wimbledon. We reached wimebledon after what ?
checked with the security person for entry tickets... Excellent person he showed us the way and also told that the chances of getting in is 10%... cos there were already 200 people standing for the ticket, we waited for one hour. The time half past 5, it was our turn for the security checks... well after that we were IN. It was all about a 100 mts race from the secutiry checks place to the tickets counter, often i had to wait and take breaks - coz MR Guru and Mr Mouli were busy in taking snaps. As we got in after 5 pm the ticket prices were reduced to £3(first bonus). I had a veggie pasty which was horrible ( I didn't like it, my taste budes were/are always after Idly,Dosa....you know!), after the pasty --- checked with few officials for the resale ticket counter.... BUSSSSS no tickets were available for Fedrer vs Nadal Match, watched the match in the big screen, with all the tennis freaks.
It was a 75 - 25 support for Fedrer and Nadal, as crowd saw fedrer lifting the trophy for 5th time in a row. ME and Guru wanted to stay back and watch doubles final, and Mr.Mouli left us in search of Fedrer. We noticed the centre court was half empty for mixed doubles, shoook shoook shook - ran from one end to another to get our tickets from resale counter. We were lucky, the line was not toooooooooooooo big,we waited for 45 mins we got our tickets for centre court - mixed doubles final - Wimbeldon for £5. It was a great experince going to wimbledon with no intention of watching a match live, finally watching a match in centre court.
We were in centre court and here comes the best part ---- we didn't know who were playing and which country they represnt.... we were the only neutral supporters, booing and clappings hands for every point - funny. After the match got over, we came to know one of the player in the winning pair is a BRIT. Took some 600 snaps - good fest for my canon 400d, I featured in a photo touching centre court and pointing my left hand index finger towards the sky.... coz that was the first ever live match. On our way back we met an interesting person Dr. Kiram, he stays in Belfast, and specially travelled from Northern Ireland to London to watch wimbledon. He's a Kannadiga person, so good company for Guru - from wimbledon i came all the way back to Eastham just to have good dinner at half past 11. That was the end for last weeks activity as Guru went right side, i took 474 back from Eastham to Galleons lock and Kiran took the district line and i believe he reached gatwick on time coz his Belfast flight at early morning the next day.
This week ...... 5 days of doing the same work, thanks to the official feeds issue, i had few sleep less nights....
Sat - day.... thx to Citv 0 they played Unnale unnale tamil movie, typical story of this generation explaining what is happening with the youth. I would rate the move 4/5 coz the story moves very smoothly, with no big star cast appearance the movie creates an interest on what is going to happen the next scene... i would call the movie as a gentle evening breeze when you are sitting in a park/garden. The music part is good, after a long time i heard some good songs in a Tamil movie.
I will have this movie in my collection.... and here i'm searching for words as its already qtr to 1 AM and my eyes are half shut and half open, so if you ( as in - readers of this post/my blog) find any spelling mistake.... Xcuse me, thx mate... xcuse is to move on with the next line, thx is for not reporting it to me he he he he he
untill i come across any normal incident (my next post)....
keep smiling,
Chase your dremz...
Anand.
